PROBLEM THAT OCCUR THROUGH POLYBAG-PLASTICS

Around 27000 kg Plastic(Polybag) bags seized in last one year.

The national Green Tribunal(NGT) banned Plastics Bags thinner than 50 microns a year after. Nearly about 27000kgs of plastics bags seized from the shopkeepers across the Delhi city.
IF we figures out the civic and Government Agencies account also, thn it can crossed the 30000 kgs of polythene bags under the 50 micron.

The Shop Owners and plastic bag traders association however said that the ban will not be successful unless there will be cheaper alternative available easily throughout country. Also, it is in circulation unless and until as long as there is a demand.

since Aug 2017, The civic officials had issued 2800 challans to defaulting shopkeepers found to be using plastic bags which were thinner than 50 microns.

however traders opinoion about this ban of plastic and issued the challans againgst the shopkeepers is that Instead of Just penalising shopkeepers,The civic agency should educate them as well as customers to not use plastic bags as it had many sideeffects then it is somehow decrese the limit of useness of plastic bag under 50 microns.

We need to understand such drives will not be effective and violates will continue to happen unless alternatives of plastic bags are made availableat a minimal cost, otherwise it would be unfair to expect a vegetable vendor to provide cloth or paper bags free of cost to the customers.

We need to motivate the customer to cary cloth Bag from home  for purchasing goods it will help the society and decrese the pollutions and minimize the use of harmful plastic.
we have to work on to educate the customers about swachata abhiyan goes on in the ways to decrease the problem in the society which was occur through plastic bag/polybag.
we have to work on that  the chain eastablis on society so that each and every person should educate the other person about plastic bag menac in the society.
